Month-end close

Halvorsen closed six entities in sequence, each with its own reconciliation spreadsheet and its own version-control folklore. Ledgerline replaced the sequence with one workspace per entity, matching overnight and surfacing only the exceptions — intercompany transfers and fuel-card settlements — that needed a decision.

“The exceptions queue replaced four spreadsheets and a whiteboard. We argue about judgments now, not about which version of the file is current.”
